This design is made for cosplay because it comes in different pieces that make it easy to turn into a costume. This lets you add magnets, Velcro, and other closures, making the design go from a 3D idea to a real-life cosplay outfit without any issues.
In order to make standards more useful, changes were made. Some changes were made to make them more suitable for conventions, such as adding more of a curve to fit the leg instead of the flatter shape seen in references and only rivets on some pieces, as the cosplayer wearing this wanted to add their own rivets to most pieces, etc. Overall, most of the original details I tried my best to include were as accurate as possible. At least given the few references I currently have available at this time.
